Opera - Sending e-mail failed. Maybe the SMTP server is not set up properly. E-mail queued.
For an EDPnet xDSL subscription with a dynamic IP only relay.edpnet.be/relay.edpnet.nl can be used as outgoing mailserver.
If you use another server configured in your Opera mail client you will get the following error:
Then you have to change the outgoing mailserver to relay.edpnet.be (for Belgium) or relay.edpnet.nl (for the Netherlands)
Change outgoing mailserver
- Click on
- Then select Mail and Chat Accounts...
- Select the mail account you want to change and click Edit...
- Go to Servers and change the Outgoing SMTP server to relay.edpnet.be or relay.edpnet.nl. We advice you to put Authenication on None
